Rachel Frutkin, USATF-2, RRCA, NASM-CPT

Coach Rachel Frutkin officially began her career in athletics and fitness in 2015. An active and curious child, Rachel has always been inclined to spend time outdoors and take on physical challenges.

In 2015, Rachel received her run coaching certification from the Road Runners Club of America. In this capacity, she has coached individuals and teams to achieve personal records (both time and distance), encouraged those filled with doubt to embrace the challenge and achieve their goals, and brought the nationwide youth running program Kids Run the Nation to Cleveland.

Rachel earned her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2018 and in 2021 added to her education by becoming a USA Track & Field Level 2 endurance coach. Her most recent accomplishment has been earning her USATF Level 2 certification in sprints and hurdles in 2022.

Through her years as a running coach and personal trainer, she has enjoyed learning about the human body and it’s capacity to take on much more than we often give it credit. Rachel sees the potential in every person and every body to achieve greatness and live a healthier, happier, and longer life. She wants every client to succeed and makes sure to keep things interesting and fun along the way. After all, “life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”

Client Testimonials

“I’ve worked with Coach Rachel for a couple years, and as a non-runner she was able to help me run the NYC Marathon! She helped me start basically from scratch to a 5k, half marathon, and then a full marathon. This was all done virtually, as well! She is a great communicator and quickly replies to any questions or issues I had – sometime even mid-run when I had some ailment and didn’t know what to do! I also really like how she can put up the schedule of my runs foe the full week and sometimes a few weeks ahead of time, so I can mentally prepare myself and know what’s coming up. All in all I’m super satisfied with Coach Rachel and am already planning to work with her to train once races are back in business!!”

“Since working with Coach Rachel on both running and in her classes I just feel so much more fit and strong.”

“I’ve really enjoyed my experience and look forward to continuing!”

“Coach Rachel has really helped me stay accountable and continue to improve my fitness level. She pushes you to the next level yet still manages to keep her classes fun and enjoyable. I love how she tailors her classes to your fitness level and interests and works hard to schedule classes at convenient times for her participants.

I highly recommend both her in-person and virtual classes!”
